UX Researcher - Dutch speaking - Amsterdam

ppAs our UX researcher, you will work collaboratively with Data Analysts, Product Owners, and Designers to develop the full user experience of Picnic’s products. With an open personality, you’re able to empathize with end-users on a weekly basis, whether that’s by guiding users through prototypes or investigating a new topic. /ppHalf of the week, you initiate, plan and execute hands‑on research activities. The other half is used to observe and analyse user behaviour and communicate those insights effectively to various teams and stakeholders. You experiment with research approaches to answer important questions. How can we make in‑app customer service more accessible? How do customers decide what to eat? How can we make delivering our groceries safer for our runners? Every week presents new challenges to explore, frame and evaluate. Understanding both the big picture and the details, you examine insights from unique angles to bring a deeper understanding of customer experience and provide testable hypotheses. /ph3bTricks of the trade /b /h3pbResearch: /bTake ownership of research activities to bring deep level insights /ppbTesting exploring: /bProvide new hypotheses to test and explore /ppbCollaboration: /bCollaborate with designers and test prototypes on a weekly basis /ppbShare insights: /bDocument sessions and present actionable insights to both consumer‑facing and employee‑facing teams /ppbCustomer focus: /bBe the face of Picnic and engage with customers /ppbContinuous improvement: /bStrive for continuous improvement to take our UX team to the next level /ph3bYour superpowers /b /h3pMSc. degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction Design or Product Design /pp0-3 years of experience as UX Researcher /ppAnalytical eye: You’re not a data wizard, but you’re familiar with Excel and know how to visualise and interpret data /ppAbility to reason on high level about various topics, to quickly understand and discuss both business and technical concepts /ppExcellent communicator: You know how to strike up a conversation with anyone and know how to present insights succinctly /ppFlexibility: Agile approach and ability to learn on the go /ppCreativity: Outside-the box thinking and passion for details /ppAffinity for or previous experience with digital design is a plus /ppFluency in both Dutch and English.
