Python Developer

Python Developer with VBA Skills

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join an ICT Development team and contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions, with a strong focus on Python, VBA and Microsoft SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web solutions and automation scripts using Python .
• Develop and maintain VBA solutions in Excel and Access.
• Work on Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL and ETL processes.
• Contribute to the migration and modernisation of Access-based solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI .
• Collaborate with technical teams on new features and production deployments.
• Ensure secure coding practices and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development .
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including T-SQL, SSIS, stored procedures and database design.
• Strong experience with Python and related frameworks/tools.
• Strong experience with VBA (Excel & Access) .
• Good knowledge of Power BI , including data modelling, DAX and dashboards.
• Good knowledge of ETL / data preparation technologies such as SSIS and Power Query.
• Experience with Git and relational database development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps .
• Good understanding of application security , OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with Docker .
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• English: B2 or higher .
