For a new innovation initiative, we are looking for an Interim UI/UX Designer who can uncover what matters to users and turn those insights into clear concepts and experiences. /p pThis is not a delivery role within an established product with a fixed roadmap. You work in an early phase, where the problem space and potential solutions are still being explored. You lead discovery, make ideas tangible, and help the team determine which opportunities are relevant, understandable, and worth developing further. /p pYou make sure product decisions are grounded in customer and user insight rather than internal assumptions. By combining research, design, and validation, you help the team find a direction that solves a recognizable problem. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liPlan and conduct interviews, workshops, and contextual research with customers and professional users. /li liTranslate needs, workflows, challenges, and business considerations into clear opportunity areas and design questions. /li liCreate user flows, concepts, and interactive prototypes that allow the team and customers to respond to concrete possibilities. /li liDesign and run experiments, synthesize feedback, and sharpen, redirect, or stop ideas when the evidence calls for it. /li liWork with data, software development, and product management to connect user value, feasibility, and product direction. /li /ul h3Your team /h3 pYou join a small, hands‑on innovation team that combines product management, data, software development, and UX expertise. Together. /p h3What you can count on in the role of bUI/UX Designer /b: /h3 ul liA monthly salary of between € 4.100 and € 5.300 (Scale VIII) based on a 38-hour working week; /li liYou will receive a 13th month salary and share in the company’s profits – which you can use to acquire depositary receipts for Nedap shares – and we offer an attractive pension plan. /li liThis position starts as a fixed‑term, project based assignment. You are curious about how people actually work, comfortable putting unfinished ideas in front of users, and able to combine speed with careful research. You take ownership and challenge assumptions constructively without losing connection with the team or customer. /p ul liYou have several years of hands‑on experience in UX Design, Product Design, or a similar role, with a strong focus on discovery and prototyping. /li liYou are confident leading interviews, workshops, usability research, and contextual research with professional users. /li liYou can turn customer problems and business needs into clear hypotheses, user flows, journeys, and testable concepts. /li liYou can move work forward in a small team with broad responsibilities and an evolving direction. /li liYou communicate clearly, challenge assumptions with respect, and work effectively with product, data, and software colleagues. /li /ul h3Good to know: /h3 pHybrid (remote) working is common at Nedap, and you and your team can coordinate your working hours to achieve a good work‑life balance.
