This role offers the chance to take ownership of significant CAPEX spend, influence key business decisions and help shape procurement best practices within a growing organisation. /p pWhether you already have CAPEX procurement experience or are looking to step into a dedicated CAPEX role from a manufacturing, engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial environment, this could be the ideal next step. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs CAPEX Buyer, you'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing contracts relating to capital investments, including machinery, equipment, engineering services, plant upgrades and infrastructure projects. /p pWorking closely with engineering, operations, project teams and finance, you'll ensure projects deliver maximum value while balancing cost, quality, risk and delivery requirements. /p pThis is a hands-on role where you'll have genuine influence over procurement decisions and the opportunity to drive positive change across the business. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for CAPEX projects and investments. /li liLead tendering activities, supplier evaluations and contract negotiations. /li liManage procurement activities for equipment, machinery, engineering services and infrastructure projects. /li liNegotiate commercial terms, warranties, service agreements and long-term contracts. /li liDrive cost reduction and total cost of ownership initiatives. /li liPartner with project managers, engineers and operational stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. /li liIdentify and mitigate commercial, contractual and supplier risks. /li liManage supplier performance and build long-term strategic relationships. /li liSupport procurement process improvements and best practice initiatives. /li liDeliver reporting on spend, savings and supplier performance. /li /ul h3About You /h3 pWe're interested in speaking with ambitious procurement professionals who are keen to develop their careers within a project-driven environment. /p pYou will likely have: /p ul liApproximately b3 to 10 years of procurement, sourcing or commercial experience /b. /li liExposure to manufacturing, engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or industrial sectors. /li liExperience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships. /li liStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills. /li liCommercial awareness and an analytical approach to decision-making. /li liA proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working. /li liThe desire to take ownership and make a visible impact. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
